Friday, 22 August, Curtin Theatre
 A bellydance show like no other!  What a fantastic evening, thank you to Jrisi and Shiva for coming across from Sydney, the Raks Harissa Troupe, El Jameeles, Hip Infinity, Desert Fire, Michelle,Phynnia and Hassan Youssef and drummers - your performances were brilliant and made a great show amazing. Thanks to Alma and Rose for their creative direction and co-ordinating all the performances and performers. And, thanks to David, Kyle, Robyn, Andrea and Bridgette for front of house and bar assistance.

Raks Sharqi   Sat, Aug 23:  9.30am-1.30pm
A beautiful entrance choreography set to rich orchestral music.  Jillina will be using Egyptian technique with a focus on the emotional connection to the music, as well as giving you ideas for improvisation. In this workshop you will learn how to articulate your hips and enhance your fluid and lyrical movements.

Percussive Precision   Sat, Aug 23:  2.30pm-5.30pm
Move your hips with intricate precision and embody the spirit of Arabic rhythms. Learn the techniques and drill the combinations to create an exciting and powerful drum solo.

Oriental Fusion   Sun Aug 24:   9.30am-1.30pm
A powerful exciting choreography straight from the Bellydance Superstars current show!  Learn dynamic floor patterns, drum solo techniques, Khaliji, and flowing combinations
to use with your own style in this dramatic routine.


Master Class - Perth Town Hall
 An intensive class designed by Jillina especially for teachers and/or troupe choreographers.  This exciting and fun routine to a great pop song is fantastic for soloists, or come along with your whole troupe! 


Audition - King Street Arts Centre, Perth
Jillina is working on a new project and was keen to see Australia's dance talent. We held an audition session and 30 dancers were put through their paces on the night. It was amazing to watch Jillina work the girls, hopefully she liked some of what she saw. Thanks to Jilyan for looking after the sound on the night.
