General conditions and information for classes
Classes may be cancelled or combined if minimum numbers are not met.
Placement is not guaranteed until full payment is received.
Casual attendance is subject to availability. Please check prior to attending.
Any bank fees incurred by Bellydance WA will be charged to participants for payment on top of any class fees owed.
Where an advertised class is cancelled: a credit; full or partial refund of fees paid; or an alternative class will be offered to enrolled participants.
Missed Classes and Refunds
No refunds or catch-up classes are given for missed classes or non-attendance. No transfers to other terms/classes.
Please be aware that bellydance is a form of exercise and as such the normal risks of injury associated with exercise classes apply. While safe dance practices are adhered to in all classes, Bellydance WA accepts no liability for injury to participants.
Illness or medical condition
Participants with existing medical conditions may attend classes at their own risk (see above) and should discuss this style of exercise with their medical practitioner before attending classes.
Participants are required to advise of any condition that may have an affect on their attendance (i.e. pregnancy, heart problems, existing injuries) before commencing classes.
Where an illness or medical condition precludes a participant commencing or continuing with a class, a refund of fees paid may be made upon receipt of a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner. Fees will be adjusted to take into account any classes attended.
If it is necessary to call an emergency service (i.e. ambulance) on behalf of a participant then all costs associated with treatment and transport are to be met by the participant.
Venues are checked prior to each class to ensure activities will be undertaken in an appropriate and safe environment, however you are requested to advise the instructor of any potential problems as soon as noticed.
Under 18 – Attending adult classes? Parents/guardians please note:
Adult classes are programed for adults. While older teens may be keen to join these classes, it is important to note that instructors for adult classes may not hold a Working With Children Check clearance and anyone under 18 attending our adult classes must attend with an adult (either participating or observing).
All conditions listed above apply to the parent or guardian of any participant under the age of 18.
